When will CAIRN be available?

What is CAIRN being built to do?
CAIRN brings together route information, weather, custom kit lists, and grading with confidence ratings. The aim is to make planning outdoor adventures simpler.
How will grading and confidence work?
We’re developing an approach that considers the route and the person planning to take it. The details are still being shaped, and early-access feedback will help us refine them.
Can CAIRN build a kit list?
Custom kit lists are part of the planned experience. They are intended to help you prepare for your trip; they are not a substitute for checking the conditions and making your own preparations.
Does CAIRN replace outdoor safety advice?
No. Conditions and individual abilities vary. A planning app cannot guarantee safety. Use current local advice, suitable equipment and your own judgement.
Where will the weather information come from?
The weather integration is still being developed. We’ll share the data sources and limitations when the feature is ready.
